Mohammed - Loss Prevention Engineer
My name is Mohammed. I work as a Loss Prevention Engineer, covering Saudi Aramco’s new projects. I come from Saudi Arabia’s southern region, and my life with Saudi Aramco has spanned more than 10 years.
As a Loss Prevention Engineer, my job is to ensure a safe working environment for the workers working on the projects.
Loss prevention as a discipline is very tough. It needs meticulous attention to detail. Because in the end, I know that if I did my job properly, I saved someone’s life in the future.
I was lucky enough to be involved in two mega-projects; one of them was Manifa’s causeway and gas and oil separation plant. This is one of those kinds of projects that comes once a century.
Manifa consists of a couple of oil reservoirs, they are not quite offshore and they are not onshore, so to be able to produce it, Saudi Aramco came up with a new concept. They came up with building new man-made islands. To connect them, they made a huge causeway that spanned more than 24 km. This kind of proportion of projects you can only see at Saudi Aramco.
If you really want to enjoy the best lifestyle here in Saudi Arabia, the only place you can work at is Saudi Aramco.
