My name is Megat; I am a Senior Process Engineer. I have been working here for slightly more than two years and I am originally from Perak, Malaysia.

My role in my current department is looking to value engineering activities that will help to optimize and improve capital and operating expenditures within Saudi Aramco.

I think what makes Saudi Aramco different is that it offers a wide spectrum from an engineering perspective, from conceptual study up to operating and commissioning the plant itself.

One of the highlights of working at Saudi Aramco is that I have been given the opportunity to lead my colleagues within my department to look in to the process of developing one of the new fields that Saudi Aramco is pursuing. It was a great success; the fact that the Executive Management of Saudi Aramco recognised our efforts by giving us a recognition award is tremendous.

My family and I love travelling and the good thing about being in the Kingdom is that we are able to pick up our car and drive to any of the Gulf countries, we really enjoy it. My children are aged between three and 12, they are schooled here and they really enjoy it and they have a lot of friends. As long as they are happy then I am happy.
