Loay - Production Engineer
My name is Loay and I work as a Petroleum Production Engineer at Saudi Aramco. I’ve been in the company for the past six years. I originally come from Jiddah, which is on the West Coast of Saudi Arabia.
My role as a Petroleum Production Engineer is to maintain the well integrity and well performance of about 100 wells. In the last 6 years in Saudi Aramco I have had the chance to work on many fields. Currently I am working at the biggest oil field in the world.
The beauty of working in a large oil field is that you get the chance to work on different types of challenges, although you’re working in the same field, there are more than 2,000 wells in that field and each one has a different story.
Working at Saudi Aramco gives you the opportunity, a lot of resources that you can use to develop and learn. With all these resources and people available, the opportunity to have several mentors to discuss ideas, is also enriching your engineering and career experience.
Saudi Aramco gives you the complete package, not only the career advances that you can have, but also a good life-work balance. Where else in the world can you be a Petroleum Engineer during the day, and play water polo in the evenings and then go scuba diving on weekends?
Working for a company like Saudi Aramco is the best decision that you can make, the choices are enormous for you to grow, and things to learn and develop, so come and join us.
